Electronic Transfer
For your convenience, we recommend that stock gifts be transferred through
Depository Trust Company (DTC). This process is electronic, and thus,
speedy. The following steps will be of assistance to you:
- Notify The Gladney Center for Adoption by telephone (listed below) of the number
of shares you are gifting, the name of the securities, the date the
transfer will take place, and the broker assisting with the transfer.
- Notify your local stockbroker of your intent to gift stock via DTC.
- Provide your broker with the following information:
- MV Securities Group, Inc.
- DTC Clearing Code: 0226
- Further Cdefit To: Account # KMG-751669
- Account Name: The Gladney Fund Cash Management Account
By Mail or In Person
If you possess the stock certificate(s) please mail them directly to The
Gladney Center for Adoption. Also, make sure that you have signed the back of the document(s)
and send a signed stock power in a separate envelope. Stock powers are
available from your broker, banker or The Gladney Center for Adoption.
